Are you interested in learning how food can affect your health and well-being? Do you want to discover the latest research on nutrition and disease prevention? If so, join us for the Food-as-Medicine study day on October 14th at the Medical Academy, Castlebar
This yearly event is open to all university students and teachers who want to explore the connections between food and medicine. You will have the opportunity to attend lectures by experts in the field and network with other participants.

Food
You can sample the abundance of plant based foods on the study day with breakfast lunch and afternoon snacks. The delicious foods will be prepared by Ronan Fox and his team.
Ronan Fox is an award-winning Executive chef and will give a demonstration on vegan recipes and how a flavour focus through food is key to engagement.
